Version labelling
Report Client and Report Server versions are labelled as m.n(r) where m = Major Version number, n = Minor Version number, and r = Revision number
A general rule is that Report Clients and Report Servers at the same Major and Minor Version level, but at different Revision levels, will usually interoperate, while Report Clients and Report Servers at different Version levels will not necessarily interoperate. However, check the Readme files included with individual Report Client and Report Server versions to find out.
Version 2
For initial installation of a Kardinia Inventory Report Client or Report Server, download the relevant file from the table here and then, for each Kardinia Inventory Report Server, submit a licence request form. Each download file here includes an installation program or script and a Readme file. Please make sure you read the Readme file. To download the release, click on the file name. The file naming convention is that four digits are used to show major(m) version, minor(n) version and revision(rr) number, respectively, as mnrr.
If you are installing Kardinia Inventory Reporter on a machine where any Kardinia Reporter product is already installed, make sure you back up your existing Kardinia directories and files before carrying out installation.
